In 2015 I became seriously ill and was diagnosed with a rare variant of vasculitis resulting in large areas of my skin dying and subsequently rotting off.
Despite its best attempts, I managed to not die and after several long months in hospital and an even longer time recovering at home, I'm back on my feet and still trying to get my life back together.
